Tour de Gironde à vélo : étape 5 - Bazas / Saint-Symphorien

TEMPORARILY CLOSED - Here's a stage where heritage is king. Or rather pope; we'll explain why. A cycle path takes you to the birthplace of Bertrand de Got, who became Pope Clement V. He was born in Villandraut and is buried in the collegiate church of Uzeste. He also left his mark on many of the area's historic castles.
