CAPITELLES INTERPRETATION TRAIL

Soak up the scenic beauty of the Guitardes plateau, which runs alongside the cliffs overlooking the Saint-Chinian valley. Stroll along this themed trail, discovering the many capitelles and imagining pastoral life in days gone by. Shaped like igloos, these dry-stone constructions were used by farmers as shelters for a siesta or until the rain stopped... Starting from the mill, discover them all along the trail, giving this walk an authentic character. This small heritage site is regularly restored by a local association, which also organizes seasonal tours of the mill site.
