Les Escaunelles

From the central clearing in Roquerlan, head toward the parking lot; 20 m further on, leave that direction on your right and go straight ahead. After 20 m, the street becomes a trail (! > Roquerlan Cross !). At the wayside cross, turn right. Continue straight ahead. At the Y-intersection on the descent, head straight ahead and continue straight. Pass beneath Combescaudes. On the trail, continue straight downhill.
Cross the road and cross the stream directly across. At the intersection at the top of the hill, turn left. At the intersection, continue straight ahead. Head straight down, skirting a meadow (! > Access to the Croix des Escaunelles and its viewpoint via the path on the left!).
At the intersection, turn left. Enter Les Escaunelles and walk straight through the hamlet. At the fork, take the right path; 10 m later, at the curve, take the path directly ahead. Cross the valley. Head up the right-hand side.
1. Cross the road. At the fork, turn right. Continue straight ahead. At the wayside cross, turn right to return to Roquerlan.
