The Chrüzzegg, a popular viewpoint, is also attractive in winter! Starting from Libingen, walk on the path over Jonenholz into the snowy little valley between Hasli and Chnü. After about two kilometers, climb left over Engelschwand up to the Schwämmli. The slightly longer but more beautiful route leads you further southeast of Chegelboden up to the Chrüzzegg. A rewarding panoramic view is guaranteed.
For the descent, take the hiking trail towards Untere Chrüzeggalp to Ober Zrick under your snowshoes. Here you descend into the little valley and soon reach the forest path again, which you follow back the same way to Libingen.

By train to Bütschwil, then by bus to the Libigen village stop.
In Libingen, the starting point, the number of parking spaces is limited. An alternative starting location is the parking lot before Libingen when coming from Dietfurt.
