The approximately 8.2-kilometer-long winter hiking trail "Hulftegg Rundweg" is signposted and machine-prepared, making it always easily walkable. The circular route has hardly any elevation changes and takes about two hours to complete. During the hike, you have a beautiful view of the Säntis, the St. Iddaburg, and part of the route even goes beyond the cantonal border.
The path starts at Restaurant Hulftegg. From there, follow the white “Hulftegg Rundweg” signs. The circular route runs over meadows, alpine pastures, and through snow-covered forests. The end of the trail is, like the start, at Restaurant Hulftegg.
