2-Lake Hike Pizol

From the valley station Bad Ragaz, you reach Pardiel, the starting point of the 2-lake hike, by gondola lift. Just outside the mountain station, you see the first signpost, which you follow towards Vilterser Seeli. After about 30 meters, you already reach the next junction. There you follow the path uphill and then reach the gravelled alp road. Now the first real ascent begins up to Pardieler Obersäss. From there, it continues towards Vilterser Seeli. After several meters on the gravel road, you reach the junction of the upper part of the Heidipfad. You now follow this path, past the ski jumping facility and further on to the Schwarzbüel viewpoint, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view to Lake Constance.

There the path branches off to the left, again towards Vilterser Seeli. From here, the hiking trail winds ever higher over the alpine meadow. After some time, you reach another junction. You pass this and continue hiking uphill. After some steeper climbs, the path flattens again and leads you into a small valley towards Vilterserer Seeli. It is not far now, and you see the Viltersersee.

Now continue towards Wangsersee, past a small alpine hut and further uphill over the zigzag path. Here you pass some narrower sections. These are easily manageable and after a few meters already over. Then you reach the next plateau, which offers you another great view back towards Viltersersee. Continue again towards Wangsersee. Now the steepest part is over. After some time, you reach the Pizol Panorama Höhenweg. There a signpost shows you the way to Wangsersee, which is reached after only a few meters.

Arrived at Wangsersee, you now reach the Laufböden station via the Pizol Panorama Höhenweg, from where you can take the chairlift back to Pardiel and further to Bad Ragaz.
