From Perosa Argentina, cross the Chisone stream and climb to the hamlets on the opposite side, then pass through the historic center of Pomaretto, where the famous Ramìe wine is produced. Then follow the trail which, with ups and downs and panoramic terraces, reaches the hamlet of Meano.
Following the stream, the valley is climbed up to the hamlet of Roreto (Roure): from here it is possible to interrupt the ascent and return towards Perosa Argentina, following the ancient "Strada Reale" on the inner slope (short variant). Possibly with some stops to observe the remains of ancient fortifications (Bec Dauphin, Ciapella) or the scenic Pissa waterfall on the Rio Agrevo.
Those who want to continue will reach Villaretto, skirt its artificial basin and continue on dirt until the hamlet of Mentoulles. From here in a short time you will reach the town of Fenestrelle, passing at the foot of the imposing fortress dominating the valley.
From Piazza Terzo Alpini, go down via Roma and turn right onto via Gutermann. At the intersection with via Chiampo, turn right to reach the bridge over the Chisone Stream. After crossing the bridge, proceed towards the group of buildings and take the dirt path that climbs the slope on the right side of the Chisone stream up to the center of Borgata Enfous (TOS300C). From the center of Enfous, follow the TOS300 route which, moving along a contour line, reaches Borgata Clot di Boulard passing the Enfous Stream. Leave behind the buildings of Borgata Clot and take the paved road descending towards Borgata Gilli. At the third hairpin turn, leave the road to take the trail descending towards Borgata Masselli. Just above the hamlet, cross the paved road and resume the trail up to the buildings of the above-mentioned Borgata. Upon reaching strada dei Masselli near the bridge on SP166, turn left to enter Borgata Masselli. Pass the built-up center of Borgata Masselli and continue towards the bridge. Cross the bridge and go to the opposite side of via Carlo Alberto to continue upstream of the buildings in the center of Pomaretto on the left side of the Germanasca Stream. After the bridge, continue along via Long, at the first junction take the left branch keeping to the right. Before crossing via Carlo Alberto again, leave the road for the TOS235 trail on the left, following existing vertical signs. The dirt path climbs up to intersect the paved road called strada del Podio. At the junction, continue descending towards the center of Pomaretto. When you reach the first building, go down the small steps to the right of the road and follow the path among the ancient vineyards descending to via Balziglia (TOS340). Upon reaching via Balziglia, turn left and continue straight to the intersection. Turn left onto via Riccardo Balmas climbing on an asphalt surface up to Borgata Pons. Pass the hamlet and take the dirt track of route TOS311 that climbs the Chisone valley on the right side of the eponymous Stream, climbing up to Borgata Gataudia and then descending to reach the artificial basin of Meano in the municipality of Perosa Argentina.
Follow the road along the Meano Artificial Basin and climb to intersect the paved road connecting Borgata Selvaggio to the bridge over the Chisone (TOS370A). After crossing the road, continue along the dirt path TOS370A to reach the bridge over the Chisone at Castel del Bosco in the municipality of Roure. Continue straight on the dirt route TOS363 to the bridge over the Chisone in the hamlet of Roreto. Cross the bridge towards the built area to reach via Nazionale. Cross and take the paved road that goes uphill from the Roreto hamlet on the left side of the Chisone Stream. After the buildings, you reach the paved road connecting Roreto to Balma near the Balma Stream (TOS301).
After passing the center of Balma, keep on the TOS301 trail until the junction with TOS303 near Piccolo Faetto. Proceed on the dirt TOS303 path to the center of Villaretto. Upon reaching via Nazionale, cross to reach the right side of the Chisone Stream descending towards the Villaretto artificial basin. At the bridge over the Chisone stream, before the basin, turn right onto the dirt paved road. Follow the road to the Mentoulles hamlet in the municipality of Fenestrelle. Upon reaching via Nazionale, follow it briefly uphill and turn left into via Metoulles, near the building of the Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park, following signs for Granges. Continuing along the paved road, you will encounter long stretches of dirt and cross the hamlets of Granges and Chambons until you arrive in the center of Fenestrelle (via Roma).
For the return, follow the same route as the outward journey until Roreto. From here, ascend on the trail towards Borgata Vignal, then pass Castel del Bosco and then the hamlet Serre. Always on trail, reach the center of Borgata Lageard, then at the intersection with the municipal road of Borgata Briera take the mule track that passes above Borgata Jartousiere and bypasses the buildings of Borgata Ciapella. Then take the paved road passing Borgate Rio Agrevo and Chialme, then follow Via Savoia to quickly return to the starting point.
