On Keisarin kierros, nature and climate change dramatically. On the top highest dune reaching up to 16 metres in height, Keisarinpankki (the Emperor's Bank), nature is shaped by the fresh sea breeze, while the magnificent spruce forest behind the dunes has a humid microclimate.
After hitting this trail, the world-famous sandy beach of Yyteri takes on a whole new dimension and you will also get to see the diversity of the surrounding nature. Yyteri means different things for different people, but there is one experience that is common to every visitor: in Yyteri, you will discover your true nature!
You can get to Keisarin kierros from Yyteri Square, at the end of Yyterinsantojentie. You can start the tour from the parking area of Kortejärventie. The path can be circumnavigated in either direction by following the poles marked with crowns.

The animals and nesting birds must not be disturbed. Walking on the dunes is prohibited. It is allowed to cycle on this trail but there are also restrictions on cycling in the Yyteri area.
