The Austrian artist Prof. Gustinus Ambrosi spent his twilight years in Stallhofen. His former home, a building reminiscent of Florence, now houses many sculptures and statues created by the deaf-mute artist during his lifetime. Not far from this museum, right next to the church, lies the Krampus Cave – a museum of a special kind. Here, visitors can experience the legend of the Stallhofner Bartl, who is said to have lived in this cave. Figures of St Nicholas and Krampus offer an insight into this Alpine tradition.
Sporty visitors will find a wide range of activities at the leisure centre. Tennis and football pitches, a volleyball court and a tarmac hall (for curling, events, etc.) invite you to enjoy sporting activities. There is also a great playground for the little ones.
