Steeg and Kaisers are ideal starting points for a wide variety of hikes in the Lechtal mountain region.
From Steeg to the Bockbach Alpine Huts
Starting from Steeg, follow the road towards Warth until you reach the turn-off into the Bockbach Valley. From there, follow the gently ascending farm road through the idyllic flower meadows of Birchetsgump up to the Bockbach alpine huts.
The Vorderbockbachalm and the “Gamsvroni” hut invite you to stop for a relaxing break in a beautiful mountain setting.
From Kaisers to the Kaiseralm
Starting from the Gasthof Vallugablick in Kaisers, the path branches off towards the Kaiserjochhaus. The well-maintained forest road leads through shady woodland and across wide alpine pastures. After about 1.5 to 2 hours, you reach the beautifully located Kaiseralm (1,689 m) in the Kaisertal valley, below the impressive Aplespleisspitze.
