From the wild bath to the origin

From the Gesundheitstherme Wildbad on the bike path and sidewalk a good 500 m, parallel to the old federal road, northward to the road-km 17.6 signpost. On the forest road in the direction of Pöllauer Graben and from there, crossing the Pöllauer Bach, to the fork at the signpost "Haslwirt". Now, however, do not continue in the direction of Haslwirt, but keep left.

Soon you leave the forest and follow the partly rather faint tracks uphill along sunny mountain meadows. The trail joins a road in Pöllau at Haus Seitlinger or next to the Leonhard church. Walk around the church to the GH Pöllauer Hof. The terrace invites you to take a longer rest, especially thanks to the freely borrowable deck chairs.

But the path still goes on: Along the easily visible field road you go slightly downhill to the forester's lodge. Follow the signpost first to the Pöllauer Schmelzofen (smelting furnace) and from there on a path within a few minutes to the Pöllauer Ursprung (spring); the spring is only 300 m away from the path barrier.

The way back to Pöllau and the descent to Wildbad Einöd is via the ascent trail.
