Moderate hike to the Walderjoch in St. Michael, Tirol

When we reach the clearing, a dreamlike panorama opens up with views of the Karwendel, the Inn Valley, and the Tux Alps.

Further to the Walderjoch we do not head directly to the Walderalm, but turn right at the Marterl, along an alpine road we walk about 10 more minutes through the forest until a clearing opens up. On the left-hand side going up on this lies the Walder Joch with a small cross and summit bench. From here the view extends far into the Inn Valley, to the Vomperloch and also over to the Tux Alps.

After a break, it goes back to the Walderalm and later down to the valley by the same way.
