The Wildschönauer Ache makes its way past high rocks. Starting point of the Kundler Klamm hike is the district Mühltal in Wildschönau. The hike first passes meadows and forests until the start of the gorge section. 200 meter high and steep rock faces impress, as do the roaring masses of water. The gorge section is 3.5 kilometers long and well suited for young and old. The route is also easy with a stroller. To shorten the hike, it is best to board the Wildschönau shuttle train in Mühltal, which travels at a leisurely pace to the entrance of the gorge. For the whole family, the natural gorge is a recreation and water paradise and a worthwhile excursion destination: splashing in water, throwing stones or just letting your feet dangle in the stream ... the gorge is the ideal place for cooling down on a summer day. The gorge can also be hiked from Kundl in the Inn Valley.

Route description Kundler Klamm from Kundl
The parking lot is located directly at the entrance of the gorge. The path into the gorge first leads over a wooden truss bridge and then past mighty rock formations. After about ten minutes of walking you reach the guesthouse Kundler Klamm. The entire length to the end of the gorge is 3 km and takes about 1 hour. The further 3 km from the end of the gorge to Mühltal (Wildschönau) can be covered either on foot or comfortably by shuttle train. There is the possibility to eat at the guesthouse Klammrast.

On heavy rainy days as well as from mid-November to the end of March the gorge is closed for safety reasons!

L211 from Kramsach to Breitenbach, across the bridge to Kundl
