The route starts in the historic half-timbered old town of Haslach. From the former Capuchin Monastery (Tourist Info) it goes to Hausach. On the way, the excursion destination Holy Well invites you to rest. In Hausach, a look at the village church is worthwhile. From there, it goes via Kirnbach to Wolfach.
Tourist Info Haslach - Haslach Klosterbach - Sandhaas Monument - Red Cross - Bannstein - Steinmatt - Over Ried - Pfarrberg/Stulzle - Hausach village - Ascent to Schlossberg - Church - Post office - Tannenwald parking lot - Hirschgasse - Hirsch guesthouse - At Schänzle - Baumensteinweg - Einet - Before Kirnbach - Schmittehof - Siechenwald - Wolfach Raiffeisen - Wolfach town center
Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Via the B33 to Haslach, follow the signs to the Tourist Information.
Ortenau S-Bahn and Black Forest Railway to Haslach. From the station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the Old Capuchin Monastery. By Kinzigtal bus line 66 to the "Stadthalle" stop. From there it is a two-minute walk to the Old Capuchin Monastery.
Free parking at the Tourist Information Haslach, Klosterstraße 1, 77716 Haslach.
2017: Please note: route change compared to the current flyer and hiking maps. After crossing the federal road (traffic light) in Gutach Turm, the path now leads directly to Schänzle, a wonderful viewpoint, and from there back to the old route.
The original route through the property on the federal road is therefore closed.
