Pfronten MTB marathon

Route description:

You start with your bike at the Breitenbergbahn and follow the bike path to the Zollhaus. There you turn right towards Breitenberg and from there you follow the descent to Steinach or Pfr.-Dorf. Via Halden/Röfleuten you follow the bike path to Kappel and master the climb over the Kappeler Alpe to the Sports Center Böck on the Alpspitze. Afterwards you continue to the south side of Edelsberg. You cross it in a bow into the Vilstal valley to the pedestrian bridge. From there you go right over Himmelreich to the Bärenmoosalpe. On the left it goes very steeply (pushing section!) into the Achtal valley to the state border. Then you go left up to Breitenberg. From there you ride down over the Hochalpe. After the serpentine path below the cable car route, keep right back to the valley station.
