"Schönkahler" environmentally friendly snowshoe route
Fotografie našich používateľov
You start at the parking lot in Achtal, which is located on the way to the Tannheimer Valley. From there the entire route is very well signposted. It is a relatively easy route without steep sections.
Essentially, the ascent route follows the summer path. First west over the bridge of the Kotbach stream to the forest edge. Then the path turns left/south. From a small hut, you reach a new wide path that leads through windthrow areas to the open high hollow near an alpine hut. Continue west to the slightly pronounced saddle between Pirschling (left) and Schönkahler (right). Over the broad ridge northwards to the summit. Descent as ascent.
