Guests of the dairymaids and mountain shepherds: Großarl offers the most farmed mountain alps in the region. About 40 chalets invite you to enjoy the nature. Blooming grassland, a clear and fresh breeze, cool wind around the nose, these are the first impressions after the arrival in Großarl. And soon you will get to know the charm and the characteristic of this beautiful valley. About 250 km of marked hiking trails lead you through the special flora and fauna of the local mountains. From cosy promenades near the center of Großarl across nice hiking trails to extensive high-mountain-tours, for sure you will find the right one for you. The special thing of Großarl are the farmed chalets in the mountains. This very day during the farmers and their cattle spend the whole summertime on the alps, to graze on the mountain meadows. About 40 chalets produce the tipical products like milk, home-made bread, tasty farmersbutter and the famous Schnaps.

Our 3 stars hotel is located between the small villages Großarl and Hüttschlag, in the ski-region Ski Amadé with the ski-lift Großarl Gasteinertal.
