The Baie de Somme coastal path

Get ready to be amazed by these breathtaking landscapes revealing the horizon infinitely. Please follow the markings carefully and do not use the old trail still visible, which can be dangerous between Mers-les-Bains and Ault. Follow the coast to Ault, where the cliffs begin, a key geographical feature that inspired Victor Hugo at Ault in 1837.
1 - The markings require passage along the cliff path. 2 - This route includes gate crossings reserved for experienced hikers. Equip yourself with good walking shoes for crossing the valleys. 3 - Join the Muses' path for more direct access to the Seagulls' route at Bois de Cise. 4 - Follow the signs.
The coastal path ends at the locality La Maye at Le Crotoy. To continue, you can proceed along the upper beach but be especially careful about tides that fully cover the beach at high tide. Check the tide schedules!
Starting point at Mers-les-Bains located 140m from the Le Tréport - Mers-les-Bains station. It is also possible to start from Cayeux-sur-Mer, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, Le Crotoy, or Noyelles, all of which have stations.
