IM_15 Laghetti del Rio Sgorela (Val Barbaira)

from the widening at the end of the paved road (217 m) cross Rio Sgorela by an old bridge and enter the medieval village of Rocchetta Nervina. Take via San Bernardo to the left and you shortly reach the church of San Bernardo. Here you continue on a mule-track which rises the wild valley along its left side above the stream, which forms ponds and little waterfalls. The mule-track goes along the hillside between rocky cliffs, terraces with olive groves and rocky cliffs again, overlooking the stream which flows in a very narrow gorge. Ignore the footpath to the left to Ponte di Cin and continue along the hillside before descending to the picturesque Ponte Paù (561 m). Pass the bridge and follow a track to the right which shortly leads to the river bed and rising along it with some care you reach a little lake. The return to Rocchetta Nervina is along the same itinerary.
