The path first leads through the small village of Tufertschwil. Then it climbs on narrower paths over meadows and forests up to the Rimsenberg. Shortly afterwards the highest point of the round is already reached. On the Winzenberg you can enjoy a wonderful view. It is no wonder that the innkeepers gave their restaurant there the name "Happy View". Anyone who wants can treat themselves to a refreshment on the terrace under the shade of the large chestnut tree. Then it goes, always following the windmills, through the forest to Grüebli and then back to the starting point.
If a breeze blows, the handmade windmills along the path turn. Each windmill represents a profession practiced in Toggenburg: the service clerk serves a beer, the carpenter planes, the cook stirs in the pan, and so on.
The attractive path was created on the occasion of the 1150-year anniversary of Rindal-Lütisburg.

- From the greater Zurich area and Central Switzerland:
On the A3 at Reichenburg towards Rapperswil and then over the Ricken Pass to Wattwil. Then down the Toggenburg. Shortly after the old Thur bridge turn right over the new bridge to Lütisburg. Follow the road through the village of Lütisburg and shortly before leaving the village turn right to Tufertschwil.
- From Eastern Switzerland:
From St. Gallen take the A1 to Wil, take the Toggenburg exit. Follow the main road to the new Thur bridge to Bazenheid. Turn left there to Lütisburg. Follow the road through the village of Lütisburg and shortly before leaving the village turn right to Tufertschwil.
- From the southern German region:
Via Bregenz and St. Margrethen on the A13 to Haag and take the exit towards Toggenburg/Wildhaus. Or via Konstanz to Wil, then take the Toggenburg exit and follow the main road to Lütisburg. Shortly after the old Thur bridge turn right over the new bridge to Lütisburg. Follow the road through the village of Lütisburg and shortly before leaving the village turn right to Tufertschwil.
By bus to the stop "Lütisburg, Dorf" or "Lütisburg, Abzweiger Tufertschwil".
From there it is about a 30-minute walk to Tufertschwil.
There is a large free parking lot in Tufertschwil.
The windmills take a winter break from mid-November to mid-March.
