POMARETTO Climb to Prali (Colle Fontane variant)

The section up to Perrero follows the gradual initial ascent along provincial road no. 169.

The detour, just after crossing the Rabbioso bridge, points to the sign for Massello, reachable in 7.6 km of ascent without major variations but still steady. The certainly challenging segment, embedded in a long ascent with the charm of the unknown, is made up of many hairpin bends, some of which can satisfy even the most demanding climber, who climbs to Colle di Fontane (1,572 m) after the town of Salza di Pinerolo. Those who take it more calmly reach the equipped area at the small pass, ideal for a well-earned break.

Then the quick descent towards the provincial road to tackle the last stretch of climb to Prali.
