In the family-friendly Hochzeiger hiking area wait over 100 km of hiking trails, fragrant pine forests and stunning views up to the Zugspitze.
Zirbenpark & Raft ride at the Rifflsee & Zirbencarts
Beautiful is a hike in the Riegetal conservation area, which leads to untreated terrain and sparkling mountain lakes.
The Pitztal Glacier is an ideal starting point for a hike on the Mittagskogel. From there you have a wonderful view of the natural gem *Rifflsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. The beautiful ways at the Rifflsee are ideal for children and seniors.
Another highlight in the Pitztal is the new cable car Wildspitzbahn including Café 3440 . The local observation deck with breathtaking views of the surrounding 3000s. At the Pitztal Glacier, the highest cable car, the highest café and pastry highest in Austria is waiting for you!
And in the Natural Park Kaunergrat holidaymakers discover their own personal piece of pristine mountains.
The key to all activities is the Glacier Park Card: It involves the use of lifts of the Pitztal, Imst and Kaunertal region, the Glacier Road, free entry to the cultural partners and discounts from our bonus partners.
The Glacier Park Card is available for 3in4, 5in7 or 10in12 days at the cable cars.
PITZTAL SOMMER CARD
From June to October at participating accommodation providers in Pitztal
Experience free admission to attractions in Pitztal and the surrounding area every day. Your participating accommodation provider will provide “Pitztal Sommer Card” (the card cannot be bought separately). This will give you free access to one mountain railway or the XP Adventure park every day. In addition you will also have free daily access to other participating businesses such as museums, swimming lake, indoor climbing park, and bouldering barn, Steinbock Centre as well as free use of public buses in Pitztal all the way to Imst train station or Imst Postplatz (post office square)!
Summer program Active Calendar
From Juni until October to all guests can look forward to a varied and mainly free activities in the Pitztal mountains. The Pitztal leisure pass with 5€ (per adult/stay) or the Pitztal Summer Card guided hiking, mountain biking and the summer program of the Natural Park Kaunergrat.
Events such as the musical hut hike and the Mountain Festival complete the program.
Pitzi`s children's club offers during the summer months, free child care from Monday to Friday and gives parents time for independent activities - and the little ones the opportunity to go along with their peers on adventure tour
