Pyhän jyssäys Mountain Biking Trail 6 km, Valtavaara-Pyhävaara Nature Reserve

The route starts from Ruka in the middle of the cottages, but soon you will find yourself on a wooded path heading towards Pyhävaara. The route goes over Pikku Pyhävaara, not right to the top of Pyhävaara. The route serves nice scenery amidst fells, dangers and ponds.

The route runs along a gravel road and a chewing road, although a few longitudinal trees are traversed over the wettest points.

The Pyhävaara hut has a campfire site and toilets, and they are located in the middle of the route, at the highest point. The vantage point crowns the stop. Pyhävaara has been the Sámi holy place "seita".

Route markings: posts with green reflective tape and red reflective plate. Sanctuary of the saint is also a hiking trail.

During the winter, the trail serves as a snowshoe route and a winter cycling route.
