Brunnenkogelhaus

From the leisure arena, hike towards the Platte and Moos districts up to the Moosalm. From there, follow the yellow signposts via the forest and hiking trail to the Brunnenbergalm.

From the alm, hike on the steep mountain path through the beautiful stone pine-larch forest. Then cross the broad pastures from which you can already see the Brunnenkogelhaus.

The last altitude meters are covered in short and long serpentine bends up to the Brunnenkogelhaus at 2,738 m.

The descent follows the same path as the ascent and takes about 2.5 hours.

As an alternative for the return journey, you can take the path below the hut via the Schönkar towards Windachtal. From Fiegl's inn, you can take the hut taxi back to the village of Sölden. This variant (with hut taxi) is somewhat shorter.  

Red mountain paths are moderately difficult: some narrow and steep, but secured walking and climbing sections await hikers. The corresponding signs have a yellow background and indicate difficulty with a red circle.

Moderately difficult mountain path; suitable for sure-footed and experienced mountain hikers; good physical condition, mountain experience and mountaineering equipment (see equipment section) are necessary.

The car journey to the ÖTZTAL.

Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches southward as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors along the Inn valley to the entrance of the valley and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final station or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Then you can conveniently and quickly travel by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination.
