Via ferrata Pfannknecht

Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on the Montafonerstraße L188 to Partenen. Then continue via the Silvretta High Alpine Road (toll road) to Galtür. Turn off before Jambach towards Jamtal. After 100 meters there is a parking lot on the left side of the road. 

From Tyrol, Galtür can be reached via Landeck and the Paznauntalerstraße L188 to Galtür. Turn off before Jambach towards Jamtal. After 100 meters there is a parking lot on the left side of the road. 

Just leave your car behind 

The regional buses operate throughout the Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns station.

Take line 85 to Bielerhöhe Silvrettasee and change there to line 260

Arrival by train to Montafon

From Bludenz station, the Montafon railway runs hourly (partly every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.

Arrival by train to Paznaun Valley

You can conveniently reach Landeck station with the ÖBB. From there, public transport buses go all the way to Galtür.
